The Pacific-Asia Conference on Information Systems (PACIS) is the premier conference of the Association of Information Systems in Region 3. Since 1993, PACIS has served to provide an intellectual platform to researchers and practitioners in the field of Information Systems to share their research findings and best practices.

As we send this call for papers, the Pacific-Asia region is making an historic transition from the pandemic-response economy. The region is also undergoing rapid digitalization at societal, community, organizational, and individual levels. We are witnessing a world where digital technologies have fueled economic and societal changes that are faster, more complex, and harder to predict.  At such an important juncture, PACIS 2023 will be a perfect time to celebrate the conference theme “Navigating Digital Turbulence and Seizing New Possibilities”. The 20 tracks capture this conference theme from a 360-degree perspective.

We invite you to submit completed research papers (16 pages maximum) or short papers (8 pages maximum) to PACIS 2023. We especially welcome submissions in current and emerging areas of Information Systems research as outlined in the twenty tracks.
